There are times where a REAL WAR appears in your life. War that makes you consider every resource available you have and every exit strategy possible to beat the hell out of your adversities and end up as a Winner. Eventually, we all will experience something like that. You know….when you are going through something you are not sure you can win.
Yeah. I know how it is my friend.
Adversity sometimes may look like it came to slow you down and make you rethink life, killing your motivation completely on what you’re doing. But the truth is, that adversity itself WILL NOT knock you down in life.
No. Not at all.
It will actually make you stronger.
In this article, I’ll show you how to have a ROCK HARD MINDSET which can transform EVERY problem into a tiny problem. I’ll give you some of my mental rules to break ANY adversity, make it look really small and just another beatable challenge.
So hear me out on this.
MENTAL RULE #1: ONLY YOUR OWN MIND CAN DEFEAT YOU
Yes, the mind is greater than the body and everything else that’s happening around you. That’s the 1st rule. Because it is the mind that can make you take more actions without stopping, without caring with results and without acting weak. But it is also the mind that can make you give up.
So only YOUR MIND have the power to actually defeat you, remember that.
Because when you’re experiencing difficult times and you get hit in the face by life, you will alwaaaaaaays have these 2 main options before you:
KEEP POSING AS A VICTIM AND CRY
Now you get to choose. What will you choose?
Cry or Fight? Give up or Eat the problems and make them really small before you?
It is your decision and only you can make it. And the best part is that it REALLY IS JUST a decision. If you stop being too emotional and just take action towards the most logical path, you’ll reverse everything that is haunting you.
Because although the world may seem to be falling apart around you, the truth is this:
YOUR PROBLEMS. ALWAYS.
There’s no adversity that it’s not possible to do something about it to reverse it. We all know that’s a fact. All problems can be defeated with the right actions. Remember that.
MENTAL RULE #2: IF YOU FACE A LOT OF PROBLEMS IT MEANS YOU ARE TOO STRONG
That’s important for you to know in advance, especially if you are still too young. Why? Because there are some people who keep noticing how others seem to have “easy lives” and they keep comparing themselves to those people. They wonder WHY with THEM is so damn hard to go forward and make progress, or why nothing works…
“Why is so hard for me to make money honestly?”
“Why is life for me so difficult?
Well, here’s the short answer:
Is because you’re too strong. Too damn strong.
Your willpower is like of a MACHINE which is always going forward, no matter what happens. For those who might be asking why is it so hard, is because you’re special somehow. Seriously. And Greatness do lies inside of you just waiting. Waiting for the right amount of PRESSURE from life make you COME OUT and show your true personality and perseverance!
“No money? No problem. I’ll take MASSIVE action and talk to 500 business owners. Then let’s see if I won’t get any money after doing that.”
“No good news from the doctor? No problem. I will prove I can beat this disease even if it has no cure, by reaching out to God.”
“No one believes in me? That’s cute. Am I needy? No. I’ll just fill my own private time with a lot of work and I’ll prove all of them wrong. Deadly wrong. I will build some fans for myself.”
That’s a strong principle: “You are too strong and special”.
So if you understand this principle, whenever some hardcore problems hit in you in the face you’ll say:
“Yeah. Bring it on. I’ll teach you not to mess with a warrior like myself. Forever.”
“Is that all? Are you done? That’s a cute storm of adversities. It was fun. Thanks.”
After a while fighting hard moments in life you’ll build this type of mindset for yourself. It takes a little bit of time and a little bit of struggles, but you will. Every fight that will appear in front of you will be something that will slightly make you smile, because you’re being complimented by life for being too damn strong.
Yeah. Life doesn’t give ordinary people the “Champion” title. Which is why hard times for you means you are strong, so enjoy this and let this adversity be ANOTHER of those life phases where a testimony was built.
But just so you understand this part better, take a look at an old interview that Stallone did a while back:
Makes sense now? Challenge. That’s what it is about.
And if you go search for Stallone’s life story you’ll see why he says he loves a challenge.
Is THAT way of thinking you must incorporate into your personality. That must become a behavioral pattern. You must say:
“Adversity? Alright. Another challenge. Come on baby.”
Make that a rule when bad things happen to you and you’ll see the UNBELIEVABLE WILLPOWER you actually possess inside of you. Is it for sure that you’ll be surprised of how mentally STRONG you really are.
MENTAL RULE #3: THERE’S NO GLORY WITHOUT ADVERSITIES
Question: Do people consider something to be a GREAT VICTORY when it is something easy to do? Something that you don’t have to put enough effort to win? Of course not. NO ONE gives glory to anyone who wasn’t been through hard times. No one.
So if you keep this thought in mind, the problems start turning into a PRIZE. Why? Because this is an OPPORTUNITY to go OVER the storm to see good things happen to you again. Greater things. And by understanding that ANOTHER EXTREME VICTORY awaits you soon in the future, will make you feel like you’re almost finishing to fly over the rainy clouds.
There’s no glory without real fights.
No. Never. So if you want to be considered great and fulfill your purpose you’ll have to go through something. Period. In fact, that’s even a part of the speech of one of the best Eric Thomas videos (at 6:10min):
Yeah. That’s reality.
You must understand that Glory is very EXPENSIVE for any human being and there’s no way to fake it. Not true Glory. So chasing it to be a force of good in this world WILL make you face battles in life, remember that.
MENTAL RULE #4: ADVERSITY WILL POINT OUT TO YOU SOMETHING YOU NEED TO IMPROVE OR LEARN
Pay attention to one fact: When you are facing adversity there’s some part of you that you wish it could be better, stronger and tougher so you could beat the problem in the face. Right? There’s always a certain point of your personality or of your skills that YOU WISH you could be better to dominate a problem completely.
Because there’s always a point.
Maybe you are not brave enough to do something you need to do, which you know it would solve your problem. Or maybe you feel like if you had a certain skill then you would definitely win. There’s always that point to pay attention that can change the game. And only YOU know that answer.
So let me warn you about something important:
Because that ONE THING you don’t dominate yet, that one thing is exactly what is keeping you from solving everything. It is that edge you need to go through, the end of the line of your struggle, it is your Salvation.
I will give you an example.
Let’s assume you’re a businessman and you lost ALL of your contracts.
Now let’s assume all of your clients came to you, just by ads or indication.
Now you have adversity. Right?
You’ve lost all your customers and if you don’t move and do something, bad things will happen to your company.
OK. Possible points to improve:
1. CREATE A MORE SOLID CONTRACT TO PREVENT ANY UNNECESSARY LOSSES OR UNFAIR CANCELATIONS
2. LEARN HOW TO REALLY PROSPECT CLIENTS
IN PERSON AND ONLINE
Do you see? Adversity may be pointing you certain things that IF YOU IMPROVE then everything will get back to normal and you’ll have another testimony to tell everybody.
Because what happens if you learn how to prospect clients in a way that you can go without any fear of rejection to any company and offer your services? What would happen? Well, possibly you’ll feel like a prospecting MACHINE very fast! And after prospecting consistently, you’ll end up having another contract in your hands.
These WILL be possible exits for what you are living right now, which is why you should view adversity only as TRAINING for the person you have yet to become. Clear?
MENTAL RULE #5: HUMANS HAVE GREAT SURVIVAL INSTINCTS
This seems very “academical” to say but it is the truth. Humans do know how to survive REALLY well, but the fact is that we are just not pushed to our limits most of the times. We are not. And whenever we are in front of a problem that is a little harder to resolve, we tend to have weak thoughts instantly.
But let things get really EXTREME in your life and you’ll see the REAL YOU.
I’ll bet with you that you’ll be capable of doing things you can’t even imagine just to survive. Just to win. So if you are afraid of what might happen if something bad “turns into life”, be assured that your survival instincts will also take place.
Because when things get serious, you summon another version of yourself.
And all your intelligence, all your creativity, and all your physical strength will take over to win. You’ll be POSSESSED by another human being that you keep inside that only wakes up when war is coming. And there’s no match against that inner power of yours.
So be aware that whether you’re living money problems, health issues or any or type of setbacks, you’ll survive. Because you were MADE to survive.
MENTAL RULE #6: THE RIGHT PATH WILL BOMBARD YOU WITH PROBLEMS AND STRUGGLES
This is an important thing that most don’t understand. Look, if you are facing a lot of problems in a row AFTER you have chosen to take a courageous path in life then problems WILL appear to try to stop you. That’s how reality works. So yes, life WILL punch you trying to drain your motivation and break your mind sometimes, just so you can see for yourself if you deserve the prize.
Because that most awesome life you want demands solid, hardcore and very strong sacrifice.
Very strong sacrifice indeed.
Which is why your purpose matters when you’re chasing something.
Because there will be times when that “WHY” that’s inside of you will need to shout LOUDER than your problems, whatever those problems are. And if you understand this, you’ll see the real path of your real life starting to open up for you. But to get to that point, your purpose must SWALLOW any doubts and fears.
Because they are your last training.
Your “graduation” for the life you want.
Because what glory would you have if the path to your greatest self was easy or “normal”? What sense of victory would you conquer if everything was perfect?
None for sure.
Because although we love when everything is “perfect” we love it even more when it was FREAKING HARD TO GET!!! When you passed through a whole lot of hell to make your life better and to give a good example, the reward is much more satisfying. Face it. That’s how human beings work.
We only respect people who do hard things and face adversity as a champion. Period.
Look, one thing you can realize is this: The people you admire the most, suffered the most.
Yes. We love to win when things got hard. We love it.
So now you just have to ask:
FOR OTHER PEOPLE?
Think about that. Because only good people go through really hard times without deserving it, and you know why? Because God is making them stronger. Good people need to be stronger in this world. It’s training. And all you have to do is to fix your mindset, making it steady and hard, expel the bad thoughts and UNLEASH THE LION you have inside of you, so he can start “hunting” for solutions.
That’s how you break every problem into small pieces.
That’s how you ignore adversities and welcome them.
And that’s how you win.
CONCLUSION: TOUGH MIND = MASSIVE ACTIONS = SUCCESS
What separates you from your real life is your actions. Period. Your actions determine how successful you are in life. Because no one can stop you from achieving what you need to achieve, regardless of who you are and where you came from. The mind is responsible for putting the people where they are, period. And there are a lot of testimonies that support this statement of mine, just search. And for both men and women.
But am I saying that Adversity is fun?
No, of course not.
Because no one would choose a war instead of going out with friends and family. No one loves war. But you must be prepared when things get tougher, when things get serious and when the battle starts to explode in front of you. And to be prepared you need to know how to take massive action.
But taking actions solely depends on your mind.
That’s why you should strengthen your mind, my friend.
