Remember that day when you bought that AWESOME thing using the money you saved for months (or years) to be able to buy it? Did you felt accomplished? Happy maybe? Did it give you motivation and improved your life?
That’s right, I bet you felt at least one of those feelings when you bought something NEW! The reason why people are hooked by this word is because the human brain ALWAYS associate WORDS with feelings!!! So when you say the word “NEW” you are actually saying to the client:
Let me give you some examples as well for this powerful copywriting word so I can prove you (hey! the word “you” again!) that I’m not mumbling things around and spitting crap content.
EXAMPLE #1: “DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A NEW SOURCE OF INCOME — THAT DEMANDS HARD WORK — WITHIN 5 MONTHS? THEN SUBSCRIBE AND READ THE 10.000-WORD TUTORIAL!!!”

HELL YEAH!! FREE !!!!!! Free MONEY! Free Xbox!!! Free articles for your blog (or wait…no…no free articles. I charge for them). The bottom of the line is that the word “FREE” is powerful because reminds people of GIFTS — and we all love gifts! Right?
In copywriting, though, you’ve to use this word wisely because if you overuse it, it will look like what you are selling or offering has no value at all! So….watch out and pay attention, read your whole content and DOUBLE CHECK if you would buy yourself the product that you are selling.
Ok, Ok, I’ll show you some nice examples of this word too, relax.
EXAMPLE #1: “THOSE 3 MAIN PROBLEMS YOU HAVE AT YOUR COMPANY TODAY, I CAN SOLVE THEM ALL WITH THIS SERVICE. BUT I’LL ONLY CHARGE YOU FOR 2 OF THESE SERVICES, THE 3rd ONE, WILL BE FOR FREE!”

Have you ever wanted to buy something but your rational side block you from buying it? That’s when “BECAUSE” comes in and can change EVERYTHING! People will rationalize when they see something that can cost a big amount of money, but if you present a very good argument using “BECAUSE”, they will EASILY leave money at your lap!
B-E-C-A-U-S-E you destroy the client’s reasons for not buying the product and, at the same time, reinforces that it’s more LOGICAL to BUY that product! Awesome right?! A single word can change everything. The mind controls what actions you should take, applying logical reasons most of the times and blocking you from buying the product, BUT you can always make a shift and change the probabilities game.

We all want new things for yesterday, that’s human nature. That immediacy “NEED” we all respond to, by spending our hard-earned money is something that most of the times is…..programmed. Programmed by marketing, by social references and by our own ego.
There’s no reason to wait for tomorrow, we want it NOW!!!
We want to be able to buy things without giving it that much thought, but sometimes reasoning steps up and block you from buying what you desire just because there’s some logical reason behind it that if you consider, it will look like the best option to wait a little longer to buy that product.
But that’s when INSTANTLY gets in!
This word is going to appeal to emotions, to the LIVING part of you!
There’s no reason why you should give that much thought and not buy if your lifespan is going to be bad. Right?! WHAT IF you die tomorrow and lose the opportunity to enjoy that product? WHAT IF you lose your job and lose the power to buy it?! WHAT IF the price of the product goes up??!?!
And by inserting this simple word…..you’ll change the client’s focus.

In life, a purpose means the ULTIMATE GOAL for a human being because there’s no greater achievement for a person than to fulfill his purpose in life. When you “touch” that inner part of a client with your words, you are making him think outside the box by forcing him to:
- imagine his ideal life
- imagine why he exists
- imagine how can your product become a tool to achieve those things
AND THAT’S EXTREMELY POWERFUL !!!!!!!
Without purpose you are just an animal without the power to influence and help others, your life is just an existence and not something you are proud about. BUT……..with MY product you can take yourself to that next level.
That level of greatness.
That level where everybody envies you.
That level of your Ideal Life.
Not so many people live their purpose in life because fear holds them back.
But with my product, will you not be part of that group of people. No. You’ll be awesome.

A DREAM is different from a purpose, let me explain. A person can have multiple dreams but only ONE purpose in life. Is it clearer now? So this word can trigger multiple emotions because it also makes people imagine themselves living their multiple dreams, thus, making them live an outstanding emotional rollercoaster.
Selling dreams is very complicated because you don’t have the person’s dream blueprint to give you information, and every person is different. Sure, there are the common dreams like earning a lot of money, travel a whole year etc, but there are also unusual dreams which you can’t figure it out by yourself.
But that’s not a problem because you only need to CONNECT with the person and by “connecting”, I mean to TRIGGER the same emotions that the person feels when they picture themselves living their dreams.

There’s a catch, though: This approach of using the word “DREAM” — and “purpose” as well — will depend on the client’s FAITH! If you are trying to sell something, the first thing you need to know is that your customer is starting to read your content from a certain “frame perspective” which WILL influence if he is even going to read the very first line (that’s why rejections don’t matter).
But hey….I guess this “obstacle” can be knocked down by the copywriter’s power.
